interACTionZ In-School Residences
interACTionZ in partnership is an inclusive youth theatre program. Focusing on Theatre for Social Change techniques, youth creatively explore personal stories while devising new and original work.
This grant funded program can provide in-school social justice residencies at no cost to teachers.
Programming began in the spring of 2015, students at Freedom High School and Lake Nona High School engaged in a Theatre for Social Change residency with interACTionZ. Over the course of 5 weeks, the two schools participated in unique devising processes which included generating personal stories, interviewing members of their school community, and writing/staging.
